Before you come and look, let us help you to narrow down your property search. Les Bons Voisins does not operate as an estate agent, or take any commissions as a result of property searches, but rather works on a 'time basis', viewing properties on behalf of clients. Acting as your 'eyes and ears', we do all we can to save you time and unnecessary trips to view obviously unsuitable properties. Once you have made a short-list of properties, we can visit them on your behalf and send you a detailed report. From that, you can decide which properties to visit in person. If you would like us to do some preliminary research by speaking to local immobiliers on your behalf, contact us on our special 'Property Search' form. Immobiliers will then contact you directly with any possibilities that match your 'wish list.' At whatever level you need our help during this stage, we are there with you every step of the way. From contacts for a new roof, down to a cost-effective heating system or where to source the best antique chandeliers. For advice on where and how to advertise your property, or writing a housekeeping brochure for you containing essential advice and local information for your visitors, or simply a changeover service - turn to us! Our motto is: 'Your house is our house - and your guests are our guests'. We are there to iron out any small problems which can so easily detract from your guests' enjoyment. If you want to keep your property just for yourselves, friends and family, we can offer a basic service to give you peace of mind. We can air your house, clean it if necessary, and turn on the electricity, hot water and heating if appropriate. If some of you want to come out before the rest of the family, or stay a little longer, we can collect you from or return you to the nearest airport - all part of the service! We can be contacted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for whatever reason, whether by yourselves or your guests. In your absence, we recommend that your property has at least a monthly check, plus extra checks after severe weather to give you peace of mind when you are not around. From one-off lawn cutting, to regular garden maintenance or full scale landscaping - no job is too large or too small. You can sit down after your arrival with that obligatory glass of wine, and smell the roses as opposed to pruning them ... A pool is a wonderful addition to your property, but needs regular TLC to ensure it stays in good running order for you or your guests. All Associates of Les Bons Voisins have sufficient spoken French to ensure that they can help you with any routine language problems which may occur as part of owning your French home. Sometimes we 'lose' clients when they decide to live in France permanently.
